Recently an older St Andrews Club member was visited by people looking to discuss St Andrews Cricket and Football Club history. The visitors had some club memorabilia with them and talked about cricket and football for quite some time.
We are not aware of anything untoward occurring during this visit but we are also not aware of anyone representing our club who would need to carry out such visits. Please note that there is no suggestion our club membership database has been compromised. Members address data is not publicly available. The visitors appeared to have address details of former club office bearers from old association fixture books.
Whilst we trust these people were acting with good intentions, please be aware and use your discretion if unannounced visitors knock on our door. If you have elderly relatives who were once involved with our club, please share this message with them.
