Our club mourns Robert Rowley

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of life member and club legend Robert Rowley, aged 96.

Robert was a top bowler who held the record for most wickets taken at our club for decades, with an average of about 6.1. You’ll also find his hat-trick ball from 1953-54 season in the display cabinet at our club rooms.

Robert’s funeral will be held from 1pm on Tuesday 14 May at St Andrews Church in Cumberland Road, Pascoe Vale. There will be refreshments later in the church hall.
